Lionsgate’s much-anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, “Michael,” has unveiled its complete Jackson 5 ensemble, adding depth to the narrative of the late music legend’s formative years. Director Antoine Fuqua’s cinematic venture, currently in production, is slated to grace theaters on April 18, 2025, promising an immersive journey into the iconic band’s rise to fame during the 1970s.

The announcement introduces eight new cast members tasked with portraying the younger and older iterations of Michael Jackson’s brothers: Jermaine, Marlon, Tito, and Jackie Jackson. Jayden Harville and Jamal R. Henderson will depict Jermaine at different life stages, while Jaylen Lyndon Hunter and Tre Horton take on the role of Marlon. Tito will be brought to life by Judah Edwards and Rhyan Hill, while Nathaniel Logan McIntyre and Joseph David-Jones assume the mantle of Jackie.

Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, takes on the momentous role of the King of Pop himself, with Juliano Krue Valdi portraying his earlier years. The star-studded cast also includes Colman Domingo as patriarch Joe Jackson, Nia Long as matriarch Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller as manager John Branca.

Produced by Graham King, John McClain, and John Logan, the biopic promises to offer an expansive view of the Jackson 5’s journey, spanning their humble beginnings to global superstardom. While the film remains tight-lipped on whether it will delve into controversial allegations surrounding the music icon, it aims to deliver an authentic portrayal of the band’s meteoric rise and enduring legacy.
